Wednesday,12 February 2020, 5 pm. Opening of the 95 YEARS OF CZECH PEN Exhibion, held in the corridor of the main building of Czech Republic National Library, 190, Klementinum, Prague 1
Thursday, 13 February 2020, 5 pm Ceremonial Award of the 2020 KAREL ČAPEK PRIZE, held under the auspices of Lord Mayor of Prague at his official residence at 1, Mariánské náměstí, Prague 1
Friday, 14 February 2020, 10 am Conference Small Languages and Literatures in the Large World, held in the Klementinum Mirror Chapel, Czech Republic National Library
The Small Languages and Literatures in the Large World Conference should discuss experience with introducing small language literatures on the international book market as well as expectations and needs in the field as required by Czech literature.
We would very much enjoy your coming to the conference and hearing your eventual contribution. In view to the preparation of the programme as well as the planned volume of conference proceedings, a confirmation of your attendance and the title of your contribution should reach our office by mid-January of 2020 at the latest. The conference will be held in two blocks, with morning session taking place from 10 am to 1 pm and afternoon session from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The registration deadline has been set for 10 January 2020. However, if you plan a contribution to the proceedings or hold a speech, kindly let us know by the end of January.
The registration fee of EUR 120 covers interpreting services, coffee breaks as well as the cultural and social program including a gala evening held in the historical residence of Prague´s Mayor. Accommodation is not included. You can choose a hotel via Booking.com or similar web pages.
