Český PEN klub informuje o případu Mr. Andrei Hniota, běloruského filmaře a novináře

Výbor pro vězněné spisovatele při Českém centru Mezinárodního PEN klubu informuje o případu Mr. Andrei Hniota, běloruského filmaře a novináře, který byl zatčen po příjezdu do Bělehradu dne 30. října 2023, od června 2024 je v domácím vězení v Bělehradě a může být vydán do Běloruska. Předseda Českého PEN klubu poslal prostřednictvím Výboru pro vězněné spisovatele protestní dopis prezidentovi Srbska, ministryni spravedlnosti, ministrovi zahraničních věcí a ministerstvu vnitra. O této iniciativě informoval také Mezinárodní PEN klub v Londýně a ministra zahraničních věcí ČR.

The Writers in Prison Committee of the Czech Centre of the International PEN Club informs about the case of Mr. Andrei Hniota, a Belarusian filmmaker and journalist, who was arrested upon his arrival in Belgrade on October 30, 2023. Since June 2024, he has been under house arrest in Belgrade and may be extradited to Belarus. The Chairman of the Czech PEN Club, through the Writers in Prison Committee, sent a protest letter to the President of Serbia, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Interior. This initiative was also reported to the International PEN Club in London and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
